    Hi! I'm Mrs. Wright.

I've been a teacher for 12 years and am delighted to join the Issaquah Valley Elementary community as a second grade teacher this year. I can't wait for a year of stories, growth, and creativity together with you and your second grader -- let's go!

When I'm not at school, my main hobbies are reading, writing, hiking with my family, and learning to become a farmer! At the moment, I am farm-mom to 28 chickens and 2 Great Pyrenees guardian dogs. My favorite things to grow on the farm are snap peas and dahlias. (But I'm pretty excited for our pumpkins this year, too!)

Second graders: one of my favorite books of the summer was DRAGONS IN A BAG by Zetta Elliott -- I can't wait to share it with you soon!
